Stafficiency™ is an iOS app for iPad and iPhone that provides an efficient and cost-effective way for hospitals to monitor and manage patient care unit staffing. How It Works:
Each facility’s individualized staffing guidelines are entered into the app upon initial setup, and staffing levels are recommended according to each department’s current census, unique patient population, and established productivity goals. These hard-wired staffing guidelines serve as a metric for determining positive or negative variances, which are then sent as push notifications to decision makers.

The app stores data and reports it in a dashboard format, which allows users to track variances and their reasons. This provides data-driven opportunities to improve processes that may be impeding hospital performance.
